Ain el Sokhna
Ain Sokhna is a harbour where the ships coming through the Suez channel reach the Red sea. It’s the nearest resort to Cairo only one and a half hour away from us. Long settlement is squeezed between hills on the West and the Red Sea on the East. Some peaks of these mountains are reachable by cableways where are also delicious panorama restaurants. Beaches are full of bathers through whole year. All kind of water sports are available but the most popular activity is fishing bigger fish. The ground is sandy and at the low tide there is shallow water to up to few hundred meters from the coast. But after the shallows in the deep water the sea is full of colourful fish, big shells and coral reefs. Paradise for snorkelling and diving.
